The Wardrobe Project was launched with the aim to refresh, recycle and update one’s personalised collection. The pioneering collaboration between the personal stylist Alexia and Label Chic Boutique owner Mendes is the first of its kind in Hong Kong.

Merging the concepts of sustainability and the personalisation of design to suit the client’s character, the Label Chic Boutique hosts a narrative of specialised luxury pieces from opulent garment designs to the latest runway must haves. With the style largely based on Parisian chic, Mendes comments on the contemporary array and quality of her selected pieces;

“I try to have a very contemporary selection and they must always be in perfect condition. I’m very selective with quality, items and brands.” Héloïse Mendes

The Wardrobe Project begins with a private consultation conducted by the co-founders in the comfort of the client’s home, eradicating any fashion “faux-pas” and reorganising their wardrobe to create an assortment of elegant ensembles. The client will then be given the option to earn addition money by selling any unwanted pieces at the Label Chic Boutique. This is then followed by a personalised shopping session at Label Chic Boutique with one-to-one styling advice from Alexia Stapels, tailored specifically to flatter the individual’s character, body shape and lifestyle.

“ If you respect and honour your colour palette, you will never be wrong.” Alexia Stapels

“We want to continue our project to give a second life to the wardrobe and clothes. To make it fashionable to buy second hand.” Héloïse Mendes
