Obellery is a unique contemporary jewellery studio, located in the heart of Soho, Hong Kong. Obellery’s value in minimalistic elegance provides a serene environment to explore the wide variety of design on offer. Founders Belinda Chang and Hugo Yeung introduced Hong Kong to Obellery in 2014, looking to promote contemporary and innovative designers and their unique, handcrafted jewellery.

Obellery’s beautiful products are encased in neutral earth tones, using geometric frame works made of natural materials to display their products. Completing the interior space, they use materials typically found in a silver-smithing workshops, adding to the clean and authentic environment; a perfect fit for their products.

Sourcing designers who have quality craftsmanship and an innovative use of techniques, Obellery have a number of collections with distinguished design aesthetics, bringing light to both up and coming and established jewellery designers.

Besides promoting designers, Obellery also have Jewellery and Metalwork workshops in the studio for those who wish to learn about jewellery making. The public can learn how to produce a unique piece of handmade jewellery, as a mean of promoting metal-craftsmanship and contemporary jewellery art within the city.

Obellery feature artists such as Alex Tsai, Wing Chan, Annie Huang, Hannah Blount and Nicole Walger who all represent the appreciation for metal-craft and jewellery design, and this in turn is shared with the greater public. The boutique is more than a place to shop – it’s where likeminded artists and lovers of craft can share their passions and skills.
