Tucked away on London’s river bank is the stunning Oxo Tower Wharf: an industrial grotto filled with creative treasures and home to a minority of London’s Design festival events. Hosted throughout the building – exhibitions, talks, workshops and installations filled the spaces, showcasing the very best in design, craft and innovation. As part of the Bankside Design District, Oxo Tower Wharf is a key destination when visiting London’s Design festival. From the 15-25th of September, this location had a programme pack filled with events and activities to celebrate the booming creative industry within the area.

Along with the many events held at this rich shopping outlet, many artists are featured within this creative hub of shops. Jewellery designer Josef Koppmann holds resident to one of the snug spaces, having studied at the Arts and Crafts College in Vienna, Josef set up his own studio in London and opened the OXO Tower showroom in 2008. Josef’s sculptural and geometric forms are predominately made in sterling silver with 24 carat gold overlay, fused together by using traditional techniques.
